You might know that I love Theme and Amusement parks, so I grab every opportunity to visit some. Today I’ve been for the first time at the Bobbejaanland. All in all it’s a mid sized park, with a nice collection of rides. There are no hyper exciting rollercoasters but a handful of various types. Revolution for example is a memorable ride an old-school powered coaster. The park’s big weakness is theming, which is not fancy at all. Many coasters are set on the ground with no theming at all, buildings look like … well buildings, Snack-bars like snack-bars … you get the picture. There is no recognizable Themed area, various Styles and elements are randomly puzzled together.
A warning to all of you, and a mental note to myself: When you visit a park with a splash battle on a rainy cold spring day … then don’t … I repeat … DON’T! believe “it won’t be that bad”. Because it will be that bad, you will get soaked, you will be wearing wet clothes for the rest of the day, you will feel awful, your skin will turn blue, and you will definitely be in a bad mood

And if you might have the luck to have spare clothes with you, the remember: after you changed, don’t … I repeat: DON’T … go into dark rides if you have no clue what kind of ride is inside. You might end up in a freaking wet indoor flume-ride! You might imagine how happy I was after the waves soaked me (and my dry spare clothes) for the second time that day.
Don’t say you haven’t been warned!
